Bromic offers four fixed gas heaters across two families of heaters.

Tungsten Series

The Tungsten series heaters come in two sizes. The 300 series model is a 19.3 “ unit with a 26,000 BTU output and a heat coverage of about a 13 X 12. The 500 series model is a 25.4 “ unit with a 43,000 BTU output and a heat coverage of about a 13 X 16. Both the 300 and 500 series model heaters are constructed of weather resistance powder coated stainless steel and include a decorative honeycomb facia to help distribute the infrared rays throughout your patio.

Platinum Series

The Platinum series heaters also come in two sizes. The 300 series model is a 22.1“ unit with a 23,600 BTU output and a heat coverage of about a 13 X 12. The 500 series model is a 29.8 “ unit with a 39,800 BTU output and a heat coverage of about a 13 X 16. Both the 300 and 500 series model heaters are constructed of long-lasting stainless steel and include a ceramic fascia for even heat distribution throughout your patio.

Step 1: Measure and Analyze the Space

The first step in determining how many and which heater to purchase is to measure your space. You need to decide if you are looking to heat the entire space or a just a specific seating area within that space. Bromic infrared gas patio heaters produce a warm blanket of infrared rays that will keep people and objects within its heat bloom warm, not the air. Once you have measured your space you need to confirm if you have proper ventilation and clearance to combustibles to install a Bromic gas patio heater. See our pre-installation checklist for some pointers.

Step 2: Determine How Many BTU's You Need for Your Patio

A good rule of thumb to verify how many BTU’s you need for your patio is to take the cubic feet of an area multiplied by the desired rise in temperature to get the total BTUs needed to heat your space. Divide the BTU needed by the BTU output of the heater, and you get an idea of how many heaters you will need. Remember, wind can affect the heat output so if you live in an area that is susceptible to high wind, you may want extra units in the space in addition to considering the Platinum series heaters that have a higher wind rating than the Tungsten series heaters.

Step 3: Select Your Style

Bromic offers two different models that you can choose from, and each have their own pros and cons. Below is a quick view of the difference between the two models.

Keep in Mind: The decorative open honeycomb facia makes this patio heater more susceptible to wind gusts

Platinum Benefits
Sleek, modern look
Ceramic fascia help distribute heat evenly
Higher wind rating
Keep in Mind: Although these have a higher wind rating due to the ceramic fascia, the BTU output is lower.
